The Online Issuance Project with Credit Card for AUTO insurance is transforming the automotive market, simplifying the issuance of policies and reducing defaults. With a market worth R$ 126 billion in 2023, only 40% of vehicles in Brazil had insurance. The digital solution aims to streamline the process and increase efficiency in payments.
T2M was responsible for the project approval tests, which consisted of the following phases
Main Phases:
Phase 1: Proof of Concept (POC)
Real-time online issuance, resulting in a significant volume of policies issued in 4 months. Test scenarios were used with techniques such as BDD and process mapping.
Phase 2: Optimization with Service Bus
Solution to API failures, with issuance of additional policies.
Phase 3: Expansion
Migration to new payment methods such as direct debit and bank slip.
Impact:
- 95.8% reduction in the policy issuance period;
- Significant increase in the use of credit cards as a form of payment;
- Reduced default and improved efficiency.
The Online Issuance Project is revolutionizing the automotive insurance sector in Brazil, offering an efficient, fast and reliable solution that simplifies the process for both insurers and customers.
T2M’s work included detailed mapping of the new flow, surveying key scenarios to mitigate risks and ensuring that other payment methods, such as direct debit and payment slips, were not negatively affected during the implementation of the new credit card issuance model.
QA, meticulous in identifying and correcting defects, was essential to guarantee the quality, reliability and integration of the new process.
We delivered a robust solution aligned with business requirements, promoting the evolution of the project without compromising the user experience.
